AusIndustry
AusIndustry is the Australian Government's business program delivery division in the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. AusIndustry delivers a range of more than 30 programs - including innovation grants, tax and duty concessions, small business skills development, industry support and venture capital - worth about $2 billion to more than 10,000 businesses and 60,000 individuals every year.

Austrade
The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is a statutory agency within the Foreign Affairs and Trade portfolio, established by the Australian Trade Commission Act 1985. Austrade's mission is to contribute to community wealth by helping more Australians succeed in export and international business by providing advice, market intelligence and support to Australian companies to reduce the time, cost and risk involved in selecting, entering and developing international markets. In addition Austrade provides advice and guidance on overseas investment and joint venture opportunities.

Australian Technology Showcase (ATS)
The Australian Technology Showcase program is a promotional and networking government program targeted at small and medium-sized Australian business enterprises with innovative, cutting edge technologies. It aims to encourage exports and increase employment by promoting member technologies on the domestic and international markets.

Australian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL)
The Australian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL) is the national association that represents the venture capital industry's participants, promotes the industry and encourages investment in growing business enterprises. Membership comprises venture capital firms, institutional investors, banks, incubators, angels, corporate advisors, accountants, lawyers, government bodies, academic institutions and other service providers to the industry.

business.gov.au is an online government resource for the Australian business community which provides access to a wide range of resources from approximately 50 Commonwealth Government agencies, 100 State and Territory Government agencies, and 125 industry associations.

Business Innovation and Incubation Australia (BIIA)
BIIA is an association of business Incubators and people interested in business incubation which sets best practice standards for the incubator industry in Australia and provides advice on incubator feasibility studies, incubator business plans, evaluating incubator projects and networking incubators.

Innovation Investment Fund (IIF)
The AusIndustry Innovation Investment Fund Program is a venture capital program that assists with the development of new managers in early stage venture capital investing. It invests in private sector venture capital funds to assist small companies in the early stages of development to commercialise the outcomes of Australia's strong research and development capability.

NSW Business Chamber
NSW Business Chamber is an independent member-based company, founded in 1885, that works with thousands of businesses, from owner-operators to large corporates, to connect them with the information, people and advice they need to make sound business decisions.

Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand
The Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ) is an association of professionals in practice, education, training and government. SEAANZ aims to assist in the development and understanding of small enterprise.

British Venture Capital Association (BVCA)
The BVCA represents over 400 members working in private equity and venture capital in the UK and is devoted to promoting the private equity industry and improving the performance and professional standards of member firms and the individuals within those firms.

eVenturing Entrepreneur's Resource Center
Geared toward entrepreneurs on the path to high growth or who are building companies that innovate and create jobs, this US site contains useful information for anyone starting and growing their own business.

National Business Incubation Association (NBIA)
The NBIA is based in the US and provides information, education, and resources to bring excellence to the process of assisting early-stage companies.

UK Business Incubation (UKBI)
UKBI is the leading representative business body for the business incubation industry in the United Kingdom.
