The NSW Clinical Trials Business Development Centre, an initiative of the OSMR, was created in 2007 in Sydney to support clinical trial activity occurring in NSW and encourage further growth in this sector. ClinicalTrialsNSW is the first point of contact for sponsors and researchers wishing to find out more about what Sydney and regional NSW, Australia can offer for clinical development.

Web site re-launch

ClinicalTrialsNSW have recently re-launched their website and the new site now includes additional features such as information for people curious about participating in clinical trials and how to get involved. There is an extensive list of service providers in NSW for the clinical trial industry and a calendar of the meeting and submission dates for all the NSW public hospital Human Research Ethics Committees.

Another helpful tool is the conference calendar of relevant industry seminars, conferences and congresses occurring in Australia and elsewhere.
