NSW health and medical companies are invited to participate in the Australian mission to Arab Health 2007 being held in Dubai from 29 January to 2 February 2007.

Opportunities exist in Middle East markets in product/service areas such as:

  • Hospital planning, design and management services
  • Educational/training services
  • Hospital facilities, medical devices, consumables, furniture supplies
  • Health ICT
  • Pharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals

Companies wishing to exhibit at Arab Health 2007 can participate on the Australian Pavilion. 

Austrade are putting together a business matching program for the Arab Health trade show.  Participants on the mission will receive:

  • Six to nine qualified business matching meetings (across a maximum of 3 Middle East markets) with distributors/partners/agents/customers
  • Access to the Australian Business Lounge (located at Arab Health) to conduct all business meetings
  • Entry passes to Arab Health 2007
  • Inclusion in all Austrade marketing and promotional material including website
  • Assistance with accommodation and bookings
  • Attendance at Austrade networking events
  • Attendance at all Austrade Middle East market briefings
  • Site visit to a leading Dubai hospital

NSW health and medical companies that exhibit on the Australian Pavilion and/or participate in the Austrade business matching program may be eligible for assistance through the NSW Department of State & Regional Development (DSRD) for:

  • Business matching and other agreed in-market services, if any, for this Trade Mission;
  • Exhibition costs
  • The preparation of reasonable quantities of pre-approved marketing materials developed specifically for the Mission;
  • Freight on providing non-commercial quantities of samples to potential customers, agents and/or distributors during or within 30 days of the conclusion of the Mission; and
  • Where necessary, the cost of interpreter services arranged through the Department's in-market service provider
