The search for young scientists is on
Young Scientists who can tell an interesting story in everyday language are encouraged to apply for the Fresh Science program which aims to improve science communications and raise the profile of science in our society.
Now in its tenth year, the Fresh Science program brings early-career researchers and scientists to Melbourne where they present their work to the media, schools and the public.
The successful applicants will participate in a one-day media training course, meet and swap ideas with other participants, present their research to the media and to public audiences and attend an evening reception with representatives from business, government, research and the media.
The closing date for nominations is 5pm Friday 15 June 2007.
